The feature for St. Patrick's day is Race 6, Post time is scheduled for 2:45 PM. A compact and speed laden field of eight four-year-olds and up will go a mile and forty yards on the Main track under $6250 Claiming conditions.
RadioStPete live coverage, including the call from legendary announcer Richard Grunder will start at 2:42 PM.
As mentioned above, there is an ton of early speed signed on here. At least half the runners in this group appear to be need to lead types, an early pace duel is expected and a closer should benefit. ROCK THE PARK (4) has won two in a row at today's distance under Ron Allen Jr. and is a good bet at 6/1 on the morning line to score again. This four year old Gelding is a versatile presser who earned the top speed and late pace figs in this field last time out. He should be rolling in deep stretch.

PREVIOUS RESULTS 3/14 Had the win bet, although it was pounded down to slightly more than 2/1 from 6/1 on the morning line. Missed the exacta, collected $34 on $32 in bets. The bankroll is now $594.10
