Today's feature at Tampa Bay Downs is the eighth race.
It is a $33,000 Handicap for four year old and up, and appears to be a tough contest. A salty field of seven will spar at a mile on the sod. Bettors could make a case for every runner here.

ATONE (2) is the choice here, as this colt was a perfect two for two on the Tampa turf before finishing seventh in the Grade 3 Tampa Bay Stakes. He gets some class relief today and his record (3 for 7 lifetime) suggests we might not have seen this one's best yet. He owns the best late pace fig here and can nail the speed, which may give him a good set-up. Journeyman rider Tomas Mejia has guided him to a pair of grass victories from three tries and returns in the irons.
