Cheech Thunder, at 9-2, won Gulfstream's fifth race to start the Rainbow 6.
The carryover was $280,007 going into the Thursday sequence. Bettors added $75,298 to the Rainbow 6 pool.
The sixth race has a carryover of $2,777.83 on the Super hi-5. There were no winners of that bet in the fourth and fifth races.
It also is the start of the Late Pick 5.
For a change the day's last race, the tenth, is one where you don't need a crystal ball. There are only eight starters.
We suggest considering a single on the one horse El Almirante--with the hot team of Peter Walder and Emisael Jaramillo. The horse is taking a big drop, and blinkers are off.
