The carried-over Super Hi-5 was hit in the first race at Gulfstream on Thursday and it paid $463.90 for the minimum $1 bet.
Whisper on the Wind took the lead in mid-stretch and held off Galleon Mast to win by a nose in the claiming race at one mile on turf for three-year-olds and up. Both horses were 7-2.

The carryover coming into the first race was $4,107.92. The carryover resulted from no tickets with the first five finishers in correct order in either of the last two races on Sunday, the most recent race day at Gulfstream,
Bettors added $30,183 to the Super Hi-5. That is typical of the bet in races with an overnight carryover. Without a carryover, Super Hi-5 betting is usually less than $2,000.
