Gulfstream Park will have a Rainbow
6 carryover of $30,729 on Sunday.
First post is 12:50 p.m. for an
11-race card. The Rainbow 6 is on
races six to eleven.
There
will also be a $12,156.66 Super Hi-5 carryover for Sunday's first race. On Saturday’s last two races, there were no
winning tickets on that bet which requires picking the first five finishers in
correct order.
The Rainbow 6 carryover continues to
grow because Saturday was the fourth straight
race day without the carryover/jackpot payoff requirement of just one
ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
On Saturday there were
12 tickets with all six winners. Each received $2,162.08.
The carryover coming in was $19,609.
Bettors added $46,334 to the pool.
Gulfstream took
out 20 percent of the day's Rainbow 6 bet. It divided 56 percent among tickets
with six winners and put 24 percent into the carryover.
There
were 61 starters in Saturday's Rainbow 6 races, for an average field size of
10.1. All of the six winners were at 6-1 or lower, with only one win by a
favorite.
The
Rainbow 6 is a 20-cent per combination only bet, Bettors can use multiple
horses in each race and thus have multiple combinations.
