A Look at the fFrst Race Super Hi-5

The Gulfstream Park turf course is listed as firm and seven of the entered-for-turf horses are set to run in the first race, with a carryover of $78,838.65 on the Super Hi-5 in the first race.
Scheduled post for that race is 12:50 p.m. Including today's  bet, the pool likely will be in the $150,000-$200,000 range.

Anazon King, the 2 horse, was a morning scratch. That cut the field to seven--the minimum for Gulfstream to have  the Super Hi-5.

The first race is 7 1/2  furlongs on turf for 3-YOs  and up< witH A  $10,000 claiming  price.

The field:
1  Wildcat Heir
3 Simferopol
4 Brittania's Moat
5 No Calcetines
6Mass Approval
7 KC Wiegnann
8 Union Vow

We are going with  an affordable $14 bet
 first --    1  3  4
 second    1  3  4
third         3 8
fourth        7   8

If there is another first race scratch, the Super Hi-5 will not be  offered until the fourth race--the next that currently has seven or more entrants.
