The
dirt track is listed as fast and the
turf course is listed as firm. Six races (the odd numbered ones) are scheduled for
turf.
The
Weather Channel forecast is for the chance of rain to rise from zero percent to 25 percent during racing hours.
There
are no stakes races on Sunday’s card. But there are two
carryovers.
The
Rainbow 6 carryover has grown to
$73,610.16. It is on races six to eleven.
There is a Super Hi-5 carryover of
$2,411.69 on the first race. The bet
requires picking the first five finishers in correct order, with no consolation
payoffs such as four of the first five places.
There were no Super Hi-5 winning
tickets on Saturday’s 12th and final
race. Thus, the full pool carries
over into Sunday’s first race.
The race has seven entrants, and as
of 10:29 a.m. there were no scratches. Gulfstream has rhe Super Hi-5 on all
races with seven or more starters.
Wednesday Racing
Gulfstream will have live racing
this Wednesday Aug. 24, with eight races and first post time of 12:50 p.m.
Later in the week, Gulfstream will
continue with its regular Thursday through Sunday racing schedule.
Other than this week, Wednesdays will
remain dark for the remainder of the
summer meet that ends on Oct. 2.
