The 4-year-old colt Yourdreamsormine beat We’re All Set by three-quarters of a length in Friday’s ninth and feature race at Gulfstream Park.
Yourdreamsormine won the one-mile
dirt allowance/optional claimer in the fast time of 1:34.74 on the track listed
as fast
Rich Daddy
finished third, followed by Saraguaro
in the seven-horse field.
The race was a rubber match for Yourdreamsormine,
trained by Milt Wolfson, and the five-year-old gelding We’re All Set, trained
by Peter Walder.
On May 13 at Gulfstream, Yourdreamsormine won the
seven-furlong Bull Gator Stakes by three lengths over We’re All Set.
On May 26 at Gulfstream, We’re All Set reversed that
one-two order when he beat Yourdreamsormine by a half length in the 6 ½ furlong Sea of Grass
Stakes.
We’re All Set, ridden by Edgard
Zayas, led through most of the race with Yourdreamsormine and jockey Tyler
Gaffalione tracking in second place.
Yourdreamsormine caught We’re All
Set just outside the sixteenth pole and steadily built his winning margin.
We’re All Set was the slight favorite at 2.10-1 to Yourdreamsormine at
2.30-1.
The win was the fifth in 26 career
starts for Yourdreamsormine, owned by Wolfson’s N T S Stable.
The race had a $44,000 purse and a
$62,500 optional claiming price. All of
the first three finishers were in for the tag, but none were claimed.

Gaffalione rode two other winners on Friday.
He has 39 wins after 22 days of the
Gulfstream summer meet and leads jockeys
in the meet that will end on Oct.2.
Emisael Jaramillo rode one winner on
Friday and is in second place with 26 victories.
Lane Luzzi, a five-pound apprentice,
rode two winners on Friday and has five
for the meet.
Gaffalione’s two other Friday
winners ($2 win prices in parentheses) were Mr. Kisses ($8.40) in the seventh race for trainer David Braddy and Venditta ($9.40) in the ninth race for trainer Patrick Biancone.
