Tampa Bay Downs has seven-race Friday card with first post at 12:15 p.m.
Today's feature Race 7, presents a wide-open group of Sophomore Maiden Special runners attempting to graduate at seven panels on the main track. Post time is scheduled for 3:18 PM. RadioStPete online coverage, including the live call of legendary announcer Richard Grunder starts at 3:16.
FLYING WITH ANGELS (2) is the choice to win at first asking, owners West Point Thoroughbreds paid $500,000 for this colt as a baby. This son of GHOSTZAPPER has been in Florida since mid December and has logged eight works at Payson Park. Samy Camacho rides for Christoph Clement, they win at a 27% rate when they team up together.

The card has two stakes. The $100,000 Pelican is six furlongs on dirt for 4-YOs and up. The $50,000 Minaret is six furlong on dirt for fillies and mares 4-YO and up.
