On Wednesday afternoon, entries will be out for Saturday's race card. It will include the $250,000 Sam F. Davis (Grade 3) a points qualifying race for the Kentucky Derby, and three other stakes races.
Race 7 is our feature for Wednesday. Older Fillies and Mares will go a mile on the lawn under $16,000 claiming conditions. Post time is scheduled for 3:30 PM, live coverage on RadioStPete online starts at 3:28.
SHE'S DYNOMITE (1) is rounding into form nicely for veteran trainer Kathleen O'Connell. She started the season at Tampa on December 19 with a ninth place finish, it appears she needed that race after a six month hiatus. This eight year-old Mare turned in a much improved effort on January 9, gaining the place under Hector Diaz Jr, despite a wide trip. Diaz returns today and the O'Connell barn wins at 21% in the third start after a layoff. She should be ready for her best.
