Our Sunday feature race at Tampa Bay Downs is the sixth.
Post time is scheduled for 2:50 PM. It is for $5,000 claiming four year-olds and up going six panels on the main track under non-winner of a race in six month conditions. Live coverage on RadioStPete online will start at 2:48.
RIDE INTO THE SKY (2) was claimed by leading trainer Gerald Bennett out of a race on December 27 vs. foes similar to these. He appears to be in a good spot to score for his new connections. Bennett ran him for a $6250 tag, first back after the claim. He's back in for $5,000 here and is three for three in the money at Tampa. The Bennett barn wins at a 28% clip with second time starters. Leading rider Samy Camacho will be aboard and this six year-old gelding has shown he can handle a wet track.
