Irad Orix Jr. has ridden the winners of three of today's first seven races at Gulfstream.
That gives him nine over the last three days and 34 for Gulfstream's championship meet.
Luis Saez is in first placed with 37 wins Edgard Zayas has 32 and Paco Lopez has 31 in a tight race among Gulfstream's big-name jockeys.
