Rainbow 6 Starts with 8-5 Winner, Stakes Fields Impacted by Surface Switches

Lavi (7) at  8-5 won the fourth race at the GP West meet to start the Rainbow 6.

The carryover coming in was $241,345.  Bettors added $127,210 to the Rainbow 6 pool.

The fields in the two stakes race have been impacted by scratches due to coming off the turf.

 The seventh race is the $60,000 Juvenile Sprin. Scratched are Catching Fish (1), Toretto (7) and Chess's Dream (9)/

We will be back shortly to look at the ninth race with  scheduled post at 4:48. It is the $60,000 Millions Distaff Preview, now at seven furlongs on the sloppy dirt track.
