HRFLA Staff Report

With three weeks left in the Gulfstream Park West meet, Edgard Zayas leads the jockey standings in wins and Rohan Crichton leads the trainer standings in wins.

The GP West meet is sponsored by Gulfstream Park and is run at Calder in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Zayas has 30 wins through Saturday, the meet's 26th day. The meet will conclude on Nov. 28.

Miguel Vasquez is second with 27 victories, followed by Emisael Jaramillo with 24 and Samy Camacho with 22.

The GP West meet will resume Wednesday with eight races and first post of 12:30 p.m.

The GP West meet is scheduled for 40 days.

This past Sunday's race card was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Eta. As of Tuesday morning, that race card had not been rescheduled.

For Wednesday, here are the number of amounts scheduled for each of the leading jockeys: Zayas 5; Vasquez 3; Jaramillo 5; Camacho 5; Lopez 6.

Through Saturday, Crichton has nine wins at GP West. Defending champion Saffie Joseph Jr. and Antonio Sano are tied in the trainer standings with nine wins each.
