Spring Up beat Galleon Mast by a length--giving us an exacta of $41.60 on a $2 bet. Two Step Time, our third horse in the exacta box, came in third.
As we expected, Diamond Bachelor shot to the lead and led by about ten lengths entering the final turn. Also as expected, he faded and finished fifth.
Spring Up won in the fast time of 1:46.48. Miguel Vassquez rode for trainer Mark Casse.
