Rainbow 6 Opener Won By 9-2 Shot

Kroy, at 9-2,won Gulfstream's seventh race to  start Saturday's Rainbow  6.

Bettors put $37,716 into a new Rainbow 6 pool.

Today's Rainbow 6 follows two  days when there was just one ticket with all six winners in the Rainbow 6 races--thus taking down the jackpot.

On Thursday, the  payoff was $436,076 on the 20-cent only bet.  The payoff  included a carryover of $350,000  that had built up  over 15 straight days when there were multiple tickets with the winners of all Rainbow 6 races.
On Friday, bettors put $20,415 into  a new Rainbow  6 pool. Following a 20 percent takeout, the winning ticket received $20,316 on a 20 cent  bet.
