Adorable Miss Wins Martha Washington at GP

Adorable  Miss beat Katinka by a length in the $100,000 Martha Washington Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Tuesday.

Adorable  Miss was the 2-5 favorite and  Katinka was 31-1 in the one mile turf race for 3-year-old  fillies.

Adorable Miss won in 1:35.59 on the course listed as firm.

Tyler Gaffalione  rode  Adorable Miss, giving him a sweep of Tuesday's first three races.

 Fancy Kitten finished third and was followed by Bitacora in the seven-horse fie;d. 

The $2 exacta paid $40.00.

Adorable Miss is trained by Todd Pletcher and owned by Mathis Stable.

The victory  was the third in four career starts for Adorable Miss, a daughter  of Kitten's  Joy.  On May 6, Adorable Miss won the $75,000 Honey 
Ryder at 1 1/16 miles on turf at Gulfstream.

After leading trainers in wins at the Gulfstream  spring meet that ended  June 30, Pletcher is in final stages of shipping horses from Palm Beach Downs in Delray Beach to Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course.  The Saratoga meet will open July 21.
