The scratches of Lisa Star (4) and Telesa (7) have left a five-horse field for the ninth and feature race at Gulfstream.
It is six furlongs on dirt for fillies and mares three-years-old and up. The purse is $37,000 with an optional claiming price of $12,500.
Rashette (5) will be the heavy favorite. She won her debut at Gulfstream on May 18, 2016.
Since then, she has not won but has three second place finishes and three third places in ten statts--all stakes or optional claimers in which she was not in for the tag.
Eduardo Nunez has the mount on Rashette for trainer Kathleen O'Connell.
Late-running Worth Avenue (3) looks to have the best chance to upset Rashette.
