Breakaway, the 2-1 favorite, beat Legendofthekitten, at 4-1, by a head in Tuesday's first race at Gulfstream.
That led to a payoff of $509.20 on the minimum $1 bet on the carried-over Super Hi-5. There were an undetermined number of winners.
The carryover coming in was $13,534. Bettors added $99,981 to the pool.
The order of finish was 9-8-5-4-6.
