Rainbow 6 Coming Up at Wet Gulfstream

As expected, the weather is deteriorating at Gulfstream Park as Tropical Disturbance 19 continues to move through South Florida.

Rain continues, the sky is dark and reported winds are above 20 mph.

It is a good day for "no spectators," but could be a good one for ADW watching and wagering.

Speed has held up through three of the first four races, with the spring/summer meet's leading jockey Edgard Zayas riding two of the winners.

Three of the remaining races have been moved from the turf to the dirt track that is Sloppy  and sealed. They are races six, nine and eleven.

The sixth, with scheduled post at 2:34 p.m., will start the Rainbow 6 with a carryover of $250,162.

Scratches have reduced the number of Rainbow starters to 44, and there is still time for some wet track handicapping.
