Saturday's 11th and last race at Gulfstream is a $16,000 maiden claimer at 1 1/8 miles on dirt for 3-YO and up.
It was scheduled for turf, but taken off due to the heavy rain conditions.
It is down to seven starters - numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12 and 14.
Because of the conditions and the low quality of the field we are going light:
* $3 WPS on 12 In Honor of Artie
* $2 exacta box Iambutter (7), In Honor of Artie (12), Bellamy's Treasure (14)
In Honor ofArtie came in second in the slop at similar level two races back. He and Bellamy's Treasure look like the ones most capable of getting this distance. We like Iambutter's off-track pedigree -- sire Kantharos and grand sire Lion Heart.
We began this feature on Friday -- wagering $21 and getting $39.90 back. We will have details later today.
