Rain ended overnight at and around Hallandale Beach, Fla., and at approximately 11:00 a.m. we will have news from Gulfstream Park on track conditions for its ten-race Sunday card.
First post is 12:00 p.m.
On Saturday, a tropical depression pounded South Florida and for the third straight day led Gulfstream to move all scheduled-for-turf races to the dirt track.
The Weather Channel forecast for Sunday is for just a 15 percent chance of rain during racing hours.
Only the third and seventh races are scheduled for turf. There are no stakes races on the card.
The carryover on the Rainbow 6 is $305,346. The 20 cent per combination-only bet is on races five to ten with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:02 p.m.
Gulfstream is guaranteeing that the Rainbow 6 pool will be at least $500,000 if there is just one ticket with all six winners.
