In Gulfstream's first race on Thursday, the carried-over Super Hi-5 paid $5,919.30 on a minimum $1 bet.
The number of winning tickets could no be readily determined.
The carryover coming in was $41,882.39. Bettors added $201,697 to the Super Hi-5. It requires picking the first five finishers in correct order, with no consolation payoffs such as four of five places.
Lil's Fast Boy, at 4-1, won the $12,500 claiming race at 61/2 furlongs on dirt for 3-year-olds and up. There were eight starters.
The order of finish was 6-2-3-1-5.
There was an overnight carryover because there were no wining Super Hi-5 tickets in the last three races at Gulfstream on Sunday.
Gulfstream has the Super Hi-5 on all races with seven or more starters.
The second race had just sixth entrants, with all starting. The third race has eight entrants. Barring late scratches it will have the Super Hi-5.
Look for wagering on the Super Hi-5 to be about $2.000--normal for that bet when there is no carryover.
