Successful Native Wins the Bonita Stakes

Successful Native (2:1) in the 1 post, held the rail in the stretch, and slipped past the three wide contenders to win the $75,000 Bonita Stakes in Gulfstream Park's third race, a five furlong sprint.

Matthew Rispoli had the mount for owner Marco Thoroughbred Corp. and trainer Audrey Maragh. The winning time was 55:04.

Daring Kathy (2:1), and Do The Roar (5:1) garnered 2nd and 3rd place.
