Requite Wins First $75,000 Stakes Race at Gulfstream Park

Requite, at 6:5, led most of the second race, and held off Yourdreamsormine (5:2), in the second running of the Parrot Key Stakes today at Gulfstream Park.

Mitos Y Leyendas, Spanish for Myths and Legends, at (9:1), fought for the Show position.

Requite was saddled by Eddie Castro in the winning time of 1:09:00.

This was Castro's third win aboard Requite in the past year, even though Requite's had a nine month layoff since racing at Saratoga last August.
