Due to scratches announced in the morning, Gulfstream
Park will not have the rolling Super Hi-5 bet on Sunday’s first race.
Instead the Super Hi-5 will first be offered on the second
race, with scheduled post of 1:46 p.m. It is a $1 minimum bet.
Gulfstream has the Super Hi-5 only on races with seven
or more starters. Details may be found
in the preceding story posted on this blog.
There is a carryover of $4,161.75. It is
possible that $30,000 or more could be added because bettors have been able to study
overnight.
The second race is a $10,000 maiden claimer at 7 ½
furlongs on turf for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
As of noon, it appears there will be seven starters.
Three main track only entrants were scratched.
Late Sunday morning, In a Momentsnotice (program
number 7) was scratched.
Responsive (program number 5) has a jockey change from
Tyler Gaffalione to Elvis Trujillo.
Gaffalione has not ridden since Thursday due to shortness of breath.
