GP Rainbow 6 Carryover Reaches $47,000

Gulfstream Park will have a Rainbow 6 carryover of $47,501.93 on Sunday.

It will be the fifth day of the current Rainbow 6 cycle without a single-ticket jackpot winner.

First post will be 1:15 p.m. for  an 11-race card.  The Rainbow 6 will be on races six  to eleven.

On Saturday, there were nine tickets that had the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.  Each received a payoff of $4,940.84 on a 20-cent bet.

The  carryover coming in was $28,974.  Bettors added  $77,225  to the pool.  After its 20 percent takeout, Gulfstream divided 56 percent of the day's bet among tickets with all six winners and added 24 percent to the carryover.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot consists of the full carryover plus 80 percent of the day's bet.  Gulfstream pays out the jackpot only if there is just one ticket with the winners of all six races.
