Muggsamatic (5), at 5-2, rallied from sixth and last place after a half mile and won Saturday's $100,000 Soldier's Dancer Stakes at Gulfstream Park.
Galleon Mast (3) finished second and early leader Wild Medaglia d'Oro (1) came in third in the 1 1/16 mile turf stakes for Florida-breds 3-YO and up.
Muggsamatic won in the solid time of 1:41.73 on the course listed as Good. Edgard Zayas rode him for trainer Mike Maker.
Muggsamatic now has two wins and two second place finishes, all in stakes, on the Gulfstream turf.
The race was the sixth on the 10-race card and the start of the Late Pick 5--on which wagering was $215,806.
Honest Gal (9), at 5-2, won the fifth race to start the Rainbow 6.
The carryover coming in was $1,427,546. Bettors added $452,692 to the pool.
