Tampa Bay: Allen Seeking 3,500th Win

The third race is  coming up at Tampa Bay Downs, where the main track is listed as fast and the turf is listed as firm.

Attention is on jockey Ronald Allen Jr. who has 3,499 carer wins.

Allen has mounts today on races 4, 6, 7, 8  and 9. 

In the fourth race (seheduled post 2:18  p.m.) he is  riding  Moonlight Salsa  for trainer Robert Boileau.  She is 7-2 in the morning line for  a seven-furlong dirt race for $8,000 claimers.
