The carried-over-from Sunday Super High 5 was hit in Wednesday's third race at Tampa Bay Downs.
It paid $5,561,70 for a minimum $1 bet, and apparently there was just one winning ticket.
The carryover coming in was $4,043. Bettors added a surprisingly low $1,858 to the pool.
Lil' Charlie won the race by a neck over Abie, who came in a neck ahead of Bite the Bit in the 10-horse field. The first three finishers all went to post at 7-2.
The numbers for the first five finishers were 4-3-9-5-6.
The race was one mile and 40 yards on dirt, for maiden claimers 3-years-old and up with an $8,000 price.
Lil' Charlie won in 1:44.05 with Ferrnando De La Cruz riding for trainer Wayne Mogge.
