Sunday: 10 Gulfstream Races; Tampa Bay Closed

Gulfstream Park has a ten-race card on Easter Sunday, with first post of 12:55 p.m.

It is open its regular hours for simulcasting, poker and its casino.

Tampa Bay Downs does not have racing this Sunday and is closed entirely for the day.

On Monday it will re-open for  simulcasting and poker, and it will re-open its golf practice facility.

Tampa Bay’s next race day will be Wednesday with nine races and first post of 12:45 p.m.

At Gulfstream on Sunday’s first race, there is a carryover of $3,877.70 on the Super Hi-5.

There will be a new pool in the Rainbow 6. It will be on races five through ten, with the sequence scheduled to start at 3:07 p.m.

On Saturday there was just one winning ticket on the Rainbow 6.   That ticket took down the jackpot  of $77,343.

That was a combination of the carryover of $26,957 plus 80 percent of the day’s Rainbow 6 bet of $63,091.

Conditions for Sunday are listed as fast  and firm. The Weather Channel  forecast is for a ten percent chance of rain until 3:00 p.m. and a 30 percent chance later in the afternoon.

We will have coverage during the afternoon on our blog, which can be accessed on the menu bar at the top of the home page of this Web site.
