Jeblar Stakes at Gulfstream is Dowm to Five

The field for Sunday's $75,000 Jeblar Stakes at Gulfstream is  down to five horses following the scratch of Hy Kodiak  Warrior by his  trainer Antonio Sano.

Tiger Blood and Zulu are the likely favorites in the seven-furlong  dirt stakes for3-year-olds and up.  It is the ninth race with scheduled post of 5:34 p.m.

Zulu, trained by Todd Pletcher. is two-for-two at seven  furlongs at Gulfstream. That includes a win in the Margate  Stakes last Dec.  18. Edgard Zayas has the mount in the Jeblar.

Tiger Blood, trained by Darien Rodriguez, is  shipping in from Tampa Bay Downs with his  regular  jockey Pablo Morales.

Tiger Blood has a two-race win streak at Tampa Bay--in the  Florida  Cup Sprint and the Pelican Stakes.  Both races were six furlongs on dirt.

Royal Squeeze, with Tyler Gaffalione riding for Ralph Nicks, is the only horse in the Jeblar with a  history of early speed.

Mylute (Nicks-Luca Panici) and Hy Riverside (Sano-Miguel Vasquez) also are in the Jeblar field.
