Gulfstream Park plans 10 races today, as it opens its weekly race schedule through Sunday.
It's race day 18 of the Championship Meet that began December 3rd.
The Rainbow 6 enters today with a nice, fat carryover of $521,332, being run on races 5-10 with the sequence starting at approximately 2:28 PM.
Last Sunday, there were 145 tickets with all winners of the Rainbow-6, each collecting $1,119.90 on the 20 cent bet. The highest odds winner was 8:1 in race 9 when Yamato won by 3/4 lenghts.
The winning program numbers were: 1-2-8-6-2-9.
Wagering on the Rainbow 6 was $290,512 Sunday,
the third highest of this meet. Look for continued large pools on the
Rainbow 6 wager, as the over 1/2 million dollars carryover will likely
entice larger bettors to enter the game.
