Tampa Bay Downs presents a nine race program today, Thursday, December 23. The first Post time is scheduled for 12:20 PM.
Racing continues tomorrow (Friday). The entire facility is closed on Christmas day (Saturday). Sunday racing starts on December 26.
After Christmas week, the Downs will have live racing on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, until the season ends on Saturday May 7.
Today's Play is in Race 7, Post time is 3:18 PM. A very competitive field of three year-olds and up will go a grassy mile under $27,000 NW1X Allowance conditions.

STYNER (5) is in fine fettle now and may have an edge on his rivals. This sophomore was an impressive winner on the local lawn on December 1, his first try on that surface. He made up a twelve length deficit in that effort and better things could be in store. He was claimed that day by the powerful Jesus Cruz barn. (43% winners in Tampa, 26% after a claim) This gelding is a runner, scoring three victories from five starts. Top tier rider Antonio Gallardo will be aboard. Worth a wager at 6/1 on the Morning line. He moves up to try Allowance foes here, he looks to be able to stand the raise.
