Tampa Bay Downs presents a nine race program as Sunday racing starts today, Post time is 12:15 PM.
From now until closing day on May 7, the Downs will have live racing every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
RACE 6, has a half-dozen sprinters in this compact but competitive field going six panels under $75,000 NW3X Optional Claiming conditions.

There is a runner here who appears to be an overlay at 12/1 on the morning line.
PRIVET MOON (6) is the class of this race. This sophomore son of MALIBU MOON owns a three for six lifetime record and has won a Stake race on dirt. He also has beaten $75,000 Optional Claiming rivals in the past and it appears he has a huge chance to do it again.
There are questions however. There are new connections and this colt has been away for 124 days. Veteran jockey Jose Ferrer is one of the best in Oldsmar currently winning at an 18% clip. Trainer Kerri Raven has solid stats 25% winners (1 for 4 this season) and 19% with new stock. PRIVET MOON (6) has won fresh in the past and should be fit and ready. He has had a trio of local works, including a "bullet" .48 flat for four furlongs on December 10. This is a tough bunch, no doubt. But, the price is right.
