Gulfstream Park will run 10 races Sunday, with no stakes races planned. First post time is 12:30 PM.
In Saturday's action, two late race unexpected winners resulted in a Jackpot payout on the popular Rainbow 6 wager.
In The Mr. Prospector Stakes, Officiating (7.4:1) held off the favorite Endorsed to win by 3/4 lengths.
Then in race 11, K.C. Chief (14:1) bested Merlin by 1-3/4 lengths. The race favorite Uninvited Guest finished 9th.
Those longer odds winners were enough to single out one winner of all six races - thus taking down the carryover plus 80% of today's $254,089 in new wagers.
The payoff was $407,067.66 - just in time for Christmas shopping in two weeks.
The Rainbow 6 wager would normally reset to ZERO, but Gulfstream announced they will seed the pool to a minimum $100,000 guaranteed if a single winner is had.
The SUPER HI 5 wager will carryover Sunday with $4,788 in the kitty for that wager,
Track handle was $12.61 million Saturday.
Race 5 kicks off the Rainbow 6 sequence, slated to start at approximately 2:26 PM.
Good Luck!
