Rainbow 6 Starts with Win by 5-1 Shot

Sharp Return, at 5-1, won Gulfstream's  fifth race to  start the Rainbow 6, with a mandatory full payout on the closing  day of the summer meet.

The carryover coming in was $42,472.  Bettors  added $162,029 to  the Rainbow 6.  There is a  20 percent takeout on the day's bet. Thus, about $170,000 will be divided among bettors who hit the Rainbow 6.
