The carried-over Super Hi-5 was hit on Thursday in the first race at tbe Gulfstream Park West meet, and it paid $1,190/80 on the miinmm $1 bet.
The number of winning ticketrs was not readily available.
Coming in the carryover was $17,975. Bettors, no doubt including many who did not bet the Super Hi-5 on Wednesday added $53,082 to the pool. We forecast that at least $50,000 would be bet on the Super Hi-5.
Chief White Sox (3). at 11-1, won the race and the 4-5 favorite Dins andTins finished second.
The order of finish was 3-8-7-5-6.
The race was a $10,000 claimer at five furlongs on turf for 3-year-olds and up.
