58 starters are expected in the Rainbow races.
Thursday's recap: Gulfstream ran 10 races with a $3.65 million handle. It was the second day in the new Rainbow 6 sequence, as the jackpot was hit on Saturday the 15th (see prior post on that data).
The Rainbow 6 pool was a normally weekday figure of $45,669, with 52 winning tickets each earning $487. The long-odds winner was Reagan's Odyssey at 8:1 in race 4, a $16,000 claiming race for 3 year-olds.
The carryover is $26,615 today, so we don't expect much wagering as the small pool discourages the larger betting dollars. However, you can have some fun with some low dollar bets.
To go ALL-IN with the 58 entrants would cost you $145,152 today, a foolish wager given the jackpot size currently.
The Super Hi-5 does have a carryover, and stands at $3,835. It will be run on race 1 today, as that race is scheduled for 7 starters, the minimum number to offer this wager.
Good luck !
