Thursday's racing kicks off at 2:00 PM with its 'twilight card' of 9 races.
Many of the recent races have been taken off the turf - 16 of 17 - in
last weeks racing due to overnight rains in South Florida, so that's
complicated the handicapping.
It'll be day 19 of the summer meet began
July 1st.
Sunday's results:
The popular Rainbow 6 jackpot grew Sunday to $589,473, as 13 winners
each pocketed $6,380 with all races off-the-turf. Three days of 14:1 or
higher odds winners helped boost the Rainbow 6 payouts on 6 of 6
wagering.
Thursday's
race card will include 53 scheduled entries in races 4-9 (the Rainbow 6
sequence), a relatively low total. We expect a pool size of about
$150,000. The late pick-4, pick-5 and Super Hi-5 have no carryovers.
Race 4 starts the Rainbow 6, with an approximate post of 3:30 PM.
