In the ninth, the Pletcher-trained Element and the Joe Sharp-trained Prince Vincenzo are the likely favorites.
We also like Firespike, who could be a good price. He was on the Kentucky Derby trail last year and has back class on turf. He has a hot trainer in Mike Maker and a hot rider in Joel Rosario.
The 10th is a six-furlong optional claimer with some talented 3-YO fillies such as April Gaze from the Eddie Plesa Jr. barn and Scoff from the Michelle Nevin barn.
As a long-shot we also like It's High Time, trained by Jose Pinchin. She won last summer's six-furlong Desert Vixen at Gulfstream. Her only finish lower than fourth was a recent eighth place on an off track.
