Gulfstream
Park is entering its second weekend of being fully open again for
spectators, and on Saturday its attractions will be two sprint stakes
and simulcast wagering on the Belmont Stakes.
The stakes races are:
* $60,000 Hollywood Lakes--6 furlongs on dirt, 3-YO and up, scheduled post 2:55 p.m.
* $75,000 Game Face--6 1/2 furlongs on dirt, 3-YO fillies. scheduled post 5:47 p.m.
Gulfstream will have its regular simulcast schedule, including Belmont Park racing.
Scheduled post is 6:49 p.m. for the Belmont Stakes (Grade 1). It is the 11th race on Belmont Park's 13-race card, which has first post of 11:35 a.m. The Belmont is one of nine graded stakes on the card.
The
Silks simulcast area on Gulfstream's ground floor will open at 11:00
a.m. Betting windows and automated tellers will be open throughout the
Gulfstream property.
From late 2020 until late last month, Gulfstream had a series of COVID-19 safety precautions and limits on attendance.
Since last weekend, open access has been restored to outdoor areas and fans are not required to wear masks or other face coverings outdoors Free admission has been restored to the apron, walking rink and breezeway.
Fans are still required to wear face coverings indoors and to practive social distancing.
