Personal Meadow (1), the 4-5 favorite, won Saturday's seventh race at Gulfstream to start the Rainbow 6 with a mandatory payout.
Fuego Caliente (4), at 6-1, won the eighth race to continue them Rainbow 6 and start the Late Pick 5.
The Rainbow 6 carryover coming in was $464,803. Bettors added $2,784,627 to the Rainbow 6, which is a 20 cents per combination-only bet.
The jackpot will be the combination of 80 percent of the new bet and the entire carryover.
The total will be just under $2.7 million. In its mandatory payout, Gulfstream will divide that money among all tickets with the six winning horses.
On non-mandatory days, Gulfstream pays out the Rainbow 6 jackpot only when there is just one ticket with all six winners. If there are multiple tickets with all six winners on such days, Gulfstream takes out 20 percent of the day's bet and divides 56 percent among winning tickets while adding 24 percent to the carryover.
We will have more results at the end of today's racing,
