With Kentucky Derby Postponed Until Sept. 5, Gulfstream Offers Rainbow 6, Three Stakes

Today, May 2, is the first Saturday in May . But the Kentucky Derby will not be run as scheduled because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) panmdemic.
Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., has postponed the classic race and its undercard stakes to Sunday Sept. 5.
Meanwhile, only three North American racetracks have thoroughred racinmg this weekend.
Those tracks are Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla., Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar, Fla., and Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Ark.
All three are racing without spectators on site, and thus have no live wagering. Advance Deposit Wagering Accounts (ADW) are the main remaining sources of bets.

At Gulfstream, first post is 12:45 p.m. for a twelve-race card.
The carryover on the Rainbow 6 is six days old has grown to $646,063. The 20 cents per combinaton bet begins on the seventh race, with scheduled post of 3:48 p.m.
The card has three stakes races:
* 9th -- $100,000 Big Drama, seven furlogs dirt, 3-YO Males
*10th -- $75,000 Honey Ryder. 1 1/16 miles turf, 3-YO fillies
*11th --$75,000 English Channel.1 1/16 miles turf, 3-YO males
At Tampa Bay, first post is 12:24 p.m. for a nine-race card, with no stakes races.
The Rainbow 6 has a carryover of $28,752 starting on the fourth race
