Tampa Bay Resumes Wednesday with Two Carryovers

Tampa Bay Downs will resume racing on Wednesday, with nine races and first post of 1:00 p.m.

Because of the coronavirus (CIVD-19) pandemic, it will be another day with no spectators at and thus no on-track betting on Tampa Bay races.

Fans around the country can watch and bet on Tampa Bay races with Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) accounts and at the limited number of simulcast and OTB locations that have remained open.

Wednesday's first  Tampa Bay race has a Super Hi-5 carryover of $8,236. On Sunday, Tampa Bay's most recent race day, there were no tickets with the correct order of the  first five finishers in the tenth and final race. It is a minimum $1 bet with no consolation payoffs such as four of five.

The Pick 6 has a carryover of $101,372. The 20-cents per combination only bet is on races four to nine, with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.
