FOX ROX (4) is in a great spot for trainer Dennis Ward. This gelding certainly likes the Tampa lawn, with a record of three wins and a pair of shows from five attempts. Two races ago, he wired a $16,000 field, earning the best grass fig here. Throw out his last trip, on sloppy dirt. Today, he appears to be the only early speed and history might repeat. The slight drop to a $10,000 tag can only help.
