Rainbow 6 starts with pair of 7-1 winners.

A pair of 7-1 shots  won the fifth and sixth races at Gulfstream on Sunday, to start the Rainbow 6  and Late  Pick5.

Those winners were Power Punch (4) in the fifth and Extravagant Rosie (3) in the sixth.\

Bettors put $376,123 into  the Rainbow 6.  That was the most for any day during this summer's meet. The carryover coming in was $1,763,112.

Wagering for Sunday was 142,530 on the Late Pick 5, on which there was no carryover.
