Jay's Way edged the favored Mr. Jordan after a long stretch duel to win by a half length in Saturday's $200,000 Sunshine Millions Classic at Gulfstream Park.
The race was 1 1/8 miles on dirt for Florida-breds 4-years-old and up.
Catholic Cowboy finished third, another eight lengths back, in the six-horse field.
Jay's Way won in 1:50.12 on the track listed as fast, for his first stakes victory. Emisael Jaramillo rode for trainer Armando De La Cerda and owner Midwest Thoroughbreds.
