Racing Today: Tampa Bay Off Turf; Gulfstream Has Large Late Pick 5 and Rainbow 6 Carryovers

At Tampa Bay Downs today, racing is off the turf due to  rain and the dirt track is listed as sloppy for a ten-race card that has first post of 12:25 p.m.

The eighth and tenth races had been scheduled for turf at the Oldsmar track.

At Gulfstream Park conditions are listed as fast and firm as of 11:15 a.m.

First post is 12:35 p.m. for an 11-race card at the Hallandale Beach track.  Four races are scheduled for turf.

Also as of 11:15 a.m. it had stopped raining at Gulfstream, following rain earlier in the morning.  There is a 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon forecast.

*Gulfstream has large carryovers today on its Late Pick 5 and Rainbow 6.

Rainbow 6  — $174,033; requires picking  winners of the last six races Late Pick 5 — $88,264, requires picking winners of last five races   *This afternoon, we will have coverage of both tracks on our blog.
