Sixth race -- Good and Proper is dropping from stakes races and could hit the board at a big price. He is 50-1 with five minutes to post.
Seventh race -- The focus will be on Valid, our pick, and Msahwish.
But note that with Grande Shores this might be another case where a Stan Gold-trained closer gets into the exacta.
It is down to five horses with the scratch of Midnight Cello.
Eighth race -- Nick Zito is still looking for his first win of the meet.
In this race he has Super Bird who could be running late and have a shot to hit the board at a price.
This horse is a son of Birdstone, the 2004 Belmont winner, and is stretching out to 1 1/8 miles after coming off a bullet workout at Palm Meadows
